Marchaina “JoiBeatz” Roscoe, Founder & CEO of JoiBeatz Productionz LLC, is an artist, audio engineer, music producer, DJ, and creative entrepreneur with a passion for building intentional, artist-centered experiences. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Business, Entrepreneurship & Technology and has earned certifications in Avid Pro Tools, Dolby Atmos Mixing, and Artist Development through industry-recognized programs.

Her journey began during her senior year of high school in 2016, where she was awarded Producer of the Year and received a Community Service Award from the Mayor of Newton for a self-produced original song and music video that brought awareness to community violence. That early recognition sparked her desire to fuse creativity with impact, setting the foundation for her career.

While living in Philadelphia toward the end of college, JoiBeatz worked as a Mix Assistant and Junior Engineer under Ben Thomas at his former studio, After5 Studios. During that time, she contributed to sessions and earned engineering credits with both major and independent artists, including WavesOnGianni, Brett Gray, OSHUN, Aria Bléu, Béya, 3strella, and more. The experience gave her an early hands-on understanding of the music industry before returning to Boston to reinvest in the local creative scene.

Since returning to Massachusetts, she has continued expanding her portfolio while working with emerging artists throughout the Boston music scene. She has also become a Resident Engineer at The Sound Lab in Brockton and expanded into professional DJing. In addition, she currently serves as Secretary of the Boston chapter of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), making her the first female of color on the board.

With a background spanning studio work, artist development, and creative direction, JoiBeatz is building a business that empowers artists through collaborative creation and high-quality production, regardless of their level of experience. Her personal experience as both a recording artist and service provider allows her to deeply understand the level of care, professionalism, and quality artists deserve.
